Voices of the countryside

Future Countryside 2024 – A countryside for all – held on Tuesday 4 June was opened with a short film which delved into the hearts and minds of those who live, work, and manage the countryside. The love the countryside film enabled these voices of the countryside to tell us how they feel about it, what defines it, and the essence of rural life they love the most.   

We welcomed delegates back after lunch to another short film where we once again heard from the voices of the countryside but this film focussed on what their hopes are for the countryside in 10 years. The future countryside film saw people share their dreams, ambitions, and aspirations that should drive the countryside’s future.
